Town of Wittenberg's Animal Control Department services the following Municipalities:

Town of Wittenberg, Village of Wittenberg, Town of Birnamwood, Town of Seneca, Village of Bowler  and Town of Morris.

Animal Control is responsible for capturing stray dogs within these municipalities and will provide shelter, food and care until the owner(s) of the dog(s) can be located.

To help locate owner(s), all dogs picked up by Animal Control will be shared to this website.

If the owner(s) can NOT be located, or refuses to claim the dog within 14 days, the dog will then be available for adoption, either by the Town of Wittenberg, or by the Shawano County Humane Society.
