Proposed Transportation Improvements

The Town of Wittenberg is proposing roadwork on Meadow Lark Road at the South Branch of Embarrass River crossing 0.2 miles south of junction with WIS 29. The project will include the removal of the existing structure, construction of a new structure, reconstruction of roadway approaches, new asphaltic pavement, and gravel shoulders. The project design is currently scheduled to be completed by November 1, 2027, for construction in 2028.

All persons interested in the Meadow Lark Rd project are encouraged to view the Public Information Material (PIM) on the Town of Wittenberg website located at the following address: https://townofwittenbergwi.gov/. Visit the website to view the project information, including an exhibit showing the preliminary roadway and structure layouts. Also, we encourage you to share this information with others that may be affected by this project. The intent of this virtual presentation of material is to provide an opportunity to view the project information and provide comments and feedback from the public.

Staff members from the Town of Wittenberg and its consultant, Short Elliott Hendrickson (SEH), Inc., will be available via phone or email to discuss the proposed improvements. Project drawings, a location map, a project information sheet, and a comment form will be on the website to illustrate the proposed project and provide comments.
