INVITATION TO BID

LOCAL ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT

The Town of Wittenberg is accepting sealed bids from responsible bidders for a L.R.I.P. reconstruction project on McDivitt Road between Mavis Road and termini of McDivitt Road (2,641 feet) in the Town of Wittenberg. Work to be provided will consist of final shaping of road base and application of 2.5” compacted thickness asphalt 20 feet wide with 2’ shoulders. All work to be completed by October 15, 2026. Failure to meet the deadline will result in a $200 per day penalty until work is completed. Direct all inquiries to Town of Wittenberg Chairman, Richard Beversdorf, at 715-881-3998. Sealed bids labeled “LRIP” will be accepted until 6:00pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Wittenberg Town Hall, W17395 County Road Q Wittenberg, WI. 54499 at which times bids will be opened. Bids must include certificate of insurance for liability and workers’ compensation. The Town of Wittenberg reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part(s) thereof, waive informalities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid proposal or portion of a bid proposal deemed most advantageous to the Town.
